This blog was started a few years ago (re-writing my “about” page now 8/26/12) in order for me to process my own spiritual journey. Writing is my therapy, and my favorite way in which to express my thoughts. When I started, I had no idea anyone else would have any interest in what I said, but I have been humbled to see that God is using our story to touch others as well. I have been inspired and encouraged by so many I have met through this blog, and God has gifted me with some amazing new friends in His Spirit. I thank God for every person that checks in, even those who disagree.
My focus changes as my journey continues, and the more I learn and grow in Him. The original subject matter is available under the Page tabs at the top of the blog, and I may add to it from time to time – but there are many things I feel compelled to write about as time goes on. The theme here is 4 Life! Whatever pertains to Life, as it emanates from, and draws us into… Jesus. I may see it in odd places sometimes, but this is the undercurrent for what I seek in my life, and what I write.
I will also hold up any sacred cow and test it in the light and teachings of Jesus, and seek to know His heart on all matters. This is how I came to be delivered from many falsehoods, and hope to continue to see things from His perspective rather than one derived in human reason. May we all be willing and humble to align our lives with Him.
Thank you for stopping in!

YEAH! a blog from YOU! LOL
And you are so N O T fat! sheesh.
As usual, you write well- very entertaining. 🙂
Loved your intro and I can so relate to it only when my kids were young and still at home I had a toyota station wagon and they had to squeeze in as they got bigger as mini-vans were not produced yet only the big suburbans.
They are grown now with ankle-biters and house wreckers of there own. Pay back and how sweet it is.

Love your blog! I can so relate! Also I have kids spread out but not quite as much as you. Mine are 8,20,23. Sometime we are going to have to get together since we both are Texans. 🙂

Thanks Barbara! That would be a blast to get together! Let me know of you are ever up this way. I have never ever been down in your part of the state. I have always wanted to see it, but we haven’t managed that yet. Blessings!
Hi, nice to meet you !
Just wanted to say that reading your blog has been very refreshing. I am married to a believing Israeli Jew and have always held that as a non-Jew our union is a perfect picture of the one new man under Messiah.
Lately a number of believing non-Jewish woman who are also married to Jewish Israeli believers are converting to Judaism. They say its their calling but I already see the walls it is rebuilding and that they are being decieved. One even calls Yeshua “Him” they dont say His name out aloud – perhaps as they are undergoing a conversion and dont want to expose themselves.
It bothers me so much – but I have found comfort in all the New Testament books that I am on the right path and that in fact I dont have to convert – that my heritage is in Yeshua/Jesus and not in religion.
Your site has really encouraged my views.
Thank you.
Welcome! Your words have certainly made a bright start to my day as well! Thank you so much. The conversions concern me greatly.. especially if they are done for a spiritual aim and not a practical one, and even in this point, what compromises have to be made? I would never want to be in the position of Peter in the courtyard. I feel it’s attempting to live in two worlds, and this is not our calling. Of those here that I have known to convert, they eventually left Him altogether. Heartbreaking. Thank you again for your comment. Prayers are with you sister.
You encourage me daily! I love you!
Love you too… and you also encourage me sooo much!! ❤
Hi! I am in stage 2 Religious studies, and nicely asking if you could please add your name somewhere on this blog so i am able to call this a reliable source and reference you!!
Thankyou,
God Bless
Hi Sophie, thank you for your interest and I wish you great success in your studies. It’s an area I would enjoy pursuing academically. How do you hope to use your education?
I am sorry but I prefer not to associate my name with this blog openly for many reasons. I am a real person, but the addition of my name I doubt would add or take away any credibility. It would still be a personal blog with one person’s (still in flux and changing) worldview. You are welcome to use it as you see fit. Thank you for reading!
