We now have an online support group for friends and family of Hebrew Roots followers, or other similar type groups. The strain on families can be enormous when one person is convinced, and the rest are not. The vast difference in lifestyle alone can cause so much friction. Others may have parents or siblings, or friends who used to go to church with them that have been affected. Often HRM members are very pushy with their beliefs, and sometimes they distance themselves. However this movement has touched your life, this will be a place to encourage one another, and pray for those we love.

I am desperate to have a support group to know how to handle this HRM movement in my family. My husband left me in 2009, we were married 30 years, and then my newly married girls, both married into this family. They married brothers from South Africa who have led them ALL the way into this movement. They’re mother is in it to. Recently, last week, my daughter has forbid me to come to the birth of my first grandchild and broke relationship with me completely, I am devastated.
It all has to do with the fact that I am not HRM, and I am a strong believer, actually a missionary myself.
The baby is due next week. SOMEBODY HELP ME!
Oh Cyndi, I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. I don’t know of many things more painful than this type of separation and rejection. I have not been active on the forum lately (had to start a full time job), but will send you information. And I need to check in there too!! Prayers and long-distance hugs to you and praying the Spirit for healing, comfort, and DELIVERANCE. I pray in time the true nature of this path will become plain to them and they will return to the Love of Christ, and to you.
