In memory of a great man of God. Yesterday in my devotions, I was reading John 20, about Jesus appearing to His disciples after the resurrection. I shared this with some people last night in a short teaching, ending with verse 29, “Blessed are those who not seeing, believe.” I came home and heard the news in shock that he has been killed in a car accident. This morning I read the last devotional he wrote yesterday, based on John 20:29. Chills went down my spine, and his message was as urgent and passionate as always. What a warm welcome he must be enjoying, and how many residents of heaven are anxious to thank him for his life of service to the King.
